About the role
Concrete Estimator Opportunity at NexGenNexGen is looking to add a Concrete Estimator to join their growing team!
Responsibilities:
NexGen Contracting is seeking a skilled Concrete Estimator responsible for reviewing RFPs, completing quantity take-offs, compiling cost estimates, soliciting bids, verifying scopes, preparing proposals, and participating in bid review, pre-award and post-bid meetings. This role also involves assisting the Senior Estimator and Preconstruction Manager as required.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or closely related field), and 4 years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience cost estimating for successful large commercial self-perform concrete projects. Ability to work extended hours as required by projects schedules or urgent circumstances. Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time (in-state and out-of-state). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC is a plus. Familiarity with Sage Estimating and Planswift is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective planning and resource management skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

May be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives and vibrations. Noise level on the job site is normally moderate to loud.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
