About the role

Description
About the Role: Corus Hospice in Albuquerque is looking for a compassionate and experienced Hospice RN to join our close-knit team. In this field-based role, you’ll provide direct support to patients and families facing life‑limiting illnesses—delivering expert symptom management and meaningful comfort where it matters most: at home.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver skilled nursing care in alignment with each patient’s hospice plan of care. Perform in-home assessments to evaluate patient symptoms, goals, and eligibility. Provide education and emotional support to patients and families about the hospice philosophy and services. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to create and adjust individualized care plans. Manage pain and symptoms through both pharmacological and non‑pharmacological methods. Communicate closely with physicians, caregivers, and other providers to ensure quality, coordinated care. Support patients and families at end‑of‑life, including guidance through bereavement resources. Document care accurately and in a timely manner using EMR systems.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For: Active RN license in New Mexico. At least one year of hospice experience is required. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in the field. Compassionate communicator with patients, families, and peers. Proficient with mobile documentation (iPad, iPhone, etc.). Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Why Join Us: At Corus Hospice, we believe in bringing out the courage in others—our patients, our families, and our team members. You’ll be part of a tight‑knit, mission‑driven group that values collaboration, compassion, and clinical excellence. Expect flexible scheduling, supportive leadership, and real opportunities for growth, including mentorship, career advancement, and ongoing training. We’re proud to support our team with robust benefits and a healthy work‑life balance.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
