About the role
Evaluating certification applications and compliance documentation, the full-time remote Technical Evaluator - USDA Certified will ensure adherence to USDA National Organic Program standards while providing technical support and maintaining recordkeeping systems.
Key responsibilities:
Perform reviews of applications, organic system plans, and supporting documentation for new and renewing clients
Communicate findings and resolve compliance issues with clients while providing advanced technical support
Conduct desk audits and maintain recordkeeping systems in accordance with internal procedures and accreditation requirements
Required qualifications:
2-4 years of certification or related regulatory experience
Demonstrated understanding of organic certification standards and review processes
Expertise in organic production or handling techniques relevant to USDA organic standards
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Point
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple activities effectively
