About the role
We are seeking a motivated Tax Manager to join our Tax Services division. This role offers an opportunity to advance your career while working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment focused on tax strategy, compliance, client service, and maximizing after-tax profitability.
Responsibilities:
Review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
Review tax adjustments to financial statements and ensure accurate tax reporting.
Manage client engagements, including deadlines, budgets, resources, and client expectations.
Develop and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
Deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
Provide tax analysis, recommendations, and solutions to clients and management.
Assist with process improvements and special projects.
Handle administrative responsibilities including time entry, billing, collections, and engagement metrics.
Mentor and support junior team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field; Master’s in Taxation is a plus.
CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred.
Experience preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
Experience with tax preparation software.
Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
Strong client service and relationship-building skills.
Trust and estate experience is a plus.
