About the role
Executive AssistantR&P is looking for an Executive Assistant who is energized by the opportunity to join our program integration team and provide direct support to our Navy customer's leadership. Candidate must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Program Management, Acquisition, Engineering, Logistics, and Technical Services to government clients. R&P offers a highly competitive compensation package that includes contributions towards health insurance, 401(k) matching, and other non-salary benefits. Exact salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.ResponsibilitiesMaintain customer calendar(s), deconflict schedules, facilitate meetings, manage invites, escort guests, manage correspondence and reserve conference rooms.Prepare, revise, and route official correspondence to include meeting minutes, memorandums for the record etc.Work with program office personnel to develop Program Office briefings, point papers, and action item responses.Assist with travel coordination for Program Office personnel in Defense Travel System (DTS).Provide general administrative support including mailing, scanning, copying, printing and binding.Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.Answer telephone calls for Program Office, take messages and route calls to applicable personnel.Order and maintain office supplies.QualificationsBachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of relevant work experienceActive DoW Security ClearanceStrong administrative skills with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word)Experience operating within a SharePoint Online environmentAbility to be on site at Washington Navy Yard 5 days per weekPrior executive support (preferred)EEO StatementR&P Technologies provides equal opportunity for all persons and prohibits discrimination in employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), veteran or marital status, or any other factor prohibited by law.
