Maintenance Supervisor – CNC / Industrial Manufacturing

Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay: $34–$50/hr
DOEPosition Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor with strong experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines and industrial manufacturing equipment. This person will lead maintenance activities while remaining actively involved in diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs, and keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and support maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC machines and related manufacturing equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot PLC-related equipment issues and replace faulty components as needed. Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation. Use hand and power tools to perform repairs and equipment maintenance. Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime. Coordinate maintenance priorities and support the maintenance team. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders. Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO requirements. Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience. Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience. Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery. Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Preventive and corrective maintenance experience. Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
Preferred Experience: 7+ years of CNC maintenance experience. Experience with CNC mills and lathes. Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Makino, or Mori Seiki. PLC troubleshooting, particularly Allen-Bradley or Siemens. Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment. Experience leading or mentoring maintenance technicians.
What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate is not just a maintenance supervisor who manages a team. We need someone who is comfortable getting hands-on and can personally diagnose a CNC machine when production goes down, determine the cause, and perform or direct the repair.
