About the role
Perception Engineer IIIWe are seeking a Perception Engineer III to lead the development of advanced robotics perception algorithms and sensor integration solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop real-time, multithreaded C++/Linux pipelines for LiDAR, radar, camera, and sensor fusion. Build algorithms for object detection, classification, tracking, and perception. Integrate ROS/ROS2, DDS, and embedded AI/ML systems. Troubleshoot perception issues and collaborate with planning, controls, and systems teams. Deploy systems at customer sites, mentor engineers, and document technical solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, Robotics, or related field.4–7 years of robotics, industrial automation, or intelligent vehicle perception experience. Expert C++11+, Linux, and multithreading skills. Experience with at least two: LiDAR, radar, image processing, or sensor fusion/tracking. Proficiency in Python 3 or MATLAB.Strong knowledge of linear algebra, probabilistic estimation, and coordinate transformations. Willingness to travel to customer sites.
