Temporary Office Coordinator | Part-Time | Onsite in Manhattan | $25/hourTSS is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Temporary Office Coordinator to support the busy New York City office of a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of an in-person office environment and likes a role with a mix of reception, administrative support, scheduling, meeting and event logistics, and day-to-day office coordination. The assignment will begin ASAP and continue at least through the end of the year. The schedule is approximately 24 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 9:30am–4pm, fully onsite in Manhattan. What You’ll Do: You’ll work closely with the Office Manager to help keep the office welcoming, organized, and running smoothly.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Greeting visitors and helping coordinate building access
  • Providing light reception and phone coverage
  • Assisting with calendar management and scheduling meetings
  • Coordinating Google and Zoom meetings for staff
  • Helping with onsite meetings, events, and larger group visits, including catering and other logistics
  • Monitoring shared office and kitchen spaces and restocking supplies
  • Ordering office and kitchen supplies
  • Processing mail, scanning checks and receipts, and handling light filing
  • Providing coverage and general administrative support when the Office Manager is out

You should be organized, responsive, and happy handling both administrative tasks and the practical details that keep a workplace running smoothly.
