We are hiring a Director of Strategic Sourcing and Partnerships to strengthen our supplier network, improve pricing and availability, and support growth across North America and key global supplier markets. You will build high‑value partnerships with OEMs and authorized distributors, negotiate commercial agreements, and turn market demand into reliable supply and profitable, repeat business. This role works closely with Business Development, Sales, Quality, and Product Line teams.
Role purpose: Build and lead our sourcing strategy, supplier partnerships, and contracting to secure competitive pricing, dependable lead times, and priority access to high‑demand parts. Geographic scope: North America Work setup: Hybrid at Hollywood, FL HQ or remote within North America; regular travel to suppliers, customers, and industry events your experienceRequired: 7+ years in aviation strategic sourcing, OEM/authorized distributor management, supplier development, or aircraft parts distribution (new parts focus) Proven success negotiating supply, distribution, or long‑term pricing agreements that improved margin and availability Existing relationships with aircraft parts manufacturers, OEMs, and major authorized distributors Strong analytics: turn RFQs, sales history, and customer demand into clear sourcing priorities and forecasts Working knowledge of aviation documentation and quality requirements Clear, professional English; confident communicator and presenter; self‑starter who executes with minimal supervision Highly desirable: Experience building or leading a small sourcing/category team Track record launching new product lines and winning preferred/authorized distributor status Exposure to airline, MRO, and government/military aftermarket channels in North America responsibilities: Partnerships and supplier development Identify, approach, and qualify OEMs, manufacturers, and major distributors aligned to our target parts and product lines Build multi‑level relationships; present demand data and customer reach to secure access, pricing, and support Represent Banner at key industry shows and supplier meetings Sourcing strategy and execution Convert RFQ and sales data into category plans, demand forecasts, and sourcing roadmaps Drive margin improvement through pricing tiers, rebates, and commercial terms Contracting and negotiation Lead negotiations for supply/distribution agreements: price structures, MOQs, lead times, delivery/warranty, payment terms, and rebates Pursue authorized/preferred distributor status where strategically beneficial Partner with Finance to assess commitments and with Legal/Compliance on contract language Enablement and onboarding Coordinate with Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and Logistics to complete supplier approvals, terms, and operational setup Ensure new agreements translate into usable pricing, item masters, and clear sales guidance for BD/Sales teams Performance, reporting, and governance Track supplier KPIs (on‑time delivery, fill rate, pricing, quality issues, warranty responsiveness) Maintain accurate records of targets, negotiations, and agreements in ERP/CRM Ensure compliance with quality standards, export controls, and company policies Customer impact and growth Build reliable pipelines for recurring parts to support high service levels and repeat business Partner with Sales/BD on key opportunities and forecasts; align supply to target accounts and programs work conditions:
