About the role
Pro Gate is a leading provider of automated gate and access control systems for residential and commercial clients in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas. We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Gate Operator Technician to install, service, and repair automated gate systems in the field.
Responsibilities:
-Install automated gate systems. (operators, wiring, control panels, safety devices)-Perform maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs.-Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and access control issues.-Communicate professionally with customers on-site.-Complete service reports and documentation.-Follow all safety procedures and job-site regulations.
Qualifications:
-Experience with automated gates, garage doors, or similar systems is required, please do not apply without prior experience in this field.-Strong electrical, low voltage, and mechanical knowledge.-Ability to read wiring diagrams and manufacturer manuals.-Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and multimeters.-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.-Physically able to lift equipment and work outdoors.-Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.-Preferred Experience in Lift Master, Hysecurity, Autogate, Tymetal, FAAC, Nice, BFT, Magnetic, or similar gate operator manufacturer brands.-Experience with various access control, intercoms, cameras, or smart systems. Including Verkada, Avigilon, Pelco, Cellgate, Doorking, Butterfly, etc. -OSHA or safety certifications.
Pay & Benefits:
-Well above industry standard pay. (Average yearly salary for a technician at Pro Gate is $100,000+) -Overtime pay after 10 consecutive hours. (Double time after 5pm if over 40 hrs)-Performance-based profit-sharing bonuses. -Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave after 1 year.-Health insurance contribution. Company pays 50% of medical, dental, eye, and life insurance. -Training and advancement opportunities
