About the role

To support PCB design projects, the full-time contract PCB Design Engineer will place and route components, ensure manufacturing requirements are met, and develop documentation for PCB fabrication while working remotely. Key responsibilities Place and route components to meet electrical and physical specifications for PCB designs Ensure all manufacturing and assembly requirements are fulfilled Develop and update drawings and documentation in response to engineering change requests Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 7 years of experience, or 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree Multiple years of experience in PCB design or equivalent education and training Competent skills in ECAD software applications, preferably Siemens Xpedition Knowledge of PCB design technologies and industry standards such as IPC and ASME/ANSI IT experience for backend management and maintenance of ECAD tools is preferred
