About the role

Donor Database/Administrative Assistant (Seasonal) The Milwaukee Rescue Mission (MRM) is seeking seasonal, Donor Database/Administrative Assistants to assist with gift processing and administrative tasks from October, 2026 through December 2026 (January, 2027, if needed).
Work Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (20-25 hrs/week), weekdays between the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm. Will be flexible with part-time work schedule.
Location: Central Campus, 830 N 19th Street, Milwaukee, WI. 53233
Responsibilities:
  • Process donations through the gift processing system, including sorting and opening mail, scanning, editing, and verifying donations and entering information into the donor database
  • Assist with donor database projects
  • Assist with assembling department mailings
  • Filing and answering phone calls
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in an administrative role (paid or volunteer) required
  • Proficient Microsoft Office and database software skills with high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with competence and accuracy in grammar and spelling
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Flexible, team player
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. and to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Be in agreement with and subscribe to the MRM Statement of Faith and the MRM Statement of Biblical Convictions
  • Be a committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is evident in personal testimony and Christian conduct
  • Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
