About the role

Kansas City Zoo is seeking a Seasonal Animal Care member to join the Water's Edge Team. This role supports daily husbandry, habitat maintenance, and guest engagement, working 40 hours weekly during the November–February season. The team handles polar bears, sea lions, otters, penguins, and trumpeter swans, with duties varying slightly by team needs. Position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand long hours, and pass background/drug screening.
