About the role

Security Manager RoleAs a Security Manager Representative (SMS-B), you will develop and revise our security management system (SMS) and update existing processes. You will monitor railway operations and the associated operational staff. You will investigate any accidents and create accident reports. You will develop countermeasures (training contents) for operational incidents. You will create orders and regulations and monitor safety-related legal regulations and instructions from the supervisory authorities. You will also create the annual safety report. In addition, you will support the acceptance of examinations and accompany internal and external audits. You will receive an extra-tariff compensation.
What You Bring: You have a successfully completed degree (FH-Diploma / Bachelor) in civil engineering, traffic planning, traffic management, or a comparable field. Training as a certified railway operations manager according to EBO or training as a train driver would be desirable. Ideally, you have a further education in security management. You have the physical and psychological suitability for railway operations. You have several years of experience in railway operations, are team-oriented, and have personnel management skills. You are proficient with MS Office and have a driver's license class B.
