About the role

SolomonEdwards is looking to add experienced, well-credentialed Tax Professionals to our growing tax practice. Our ideal candidate has a mix of Big4 and corporate industry experience. Our team is targeting candidates in Dallas with limited client travel to client locations (up to20% annually). We are a “hands on” firm. Our clients often require us to provide a range of services from tax compliance to more complex tax accounting issues. To be successful, candidates must have strong tax abilities with a broad base of experience and knowledge, strong communication skills, and an engaging presence with clients. We have opportunities in income tax, indirect tax, and various tax specialty areas. We offer flexibility with both full-time and flexible reduced-hour work week schedules to allow you to balance all that life demands. We believe in a competitive compensation structure. Our tax practice employs top candidates on both a salaried and hourly pay model. Pay is based on prior experience and client demand, with full firm coverage of benefits, including healthcare, 401(k) with a firm match, dental, vision, etc. In some situations, we will hire consultants with specialized experience or very limited schedules on a project‑by‑project basis. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience (an advanced degree in tax is highly desirable) A minimum of 10 years of relevant tax experience or equivalent experience in the Big4 or industry CPA certification or equivalent (highly preferred) Broad exposure to one of the following: U.S. Federal income tax, including compliance and tax provision work State income tax compliance and tax provision Property tax Partnership tax Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
