About the role
SFX Aftercare is hiring for the 2026-2027 school year! Looking for a part-time job without working weekends or major holidays, all while having fun working with kids! Multiple shifts available School days Monday-Friday 2:15 pm - 5:30 pm. School breaks and summer hours 7:15 am - 5:30 pm. Closed on major holidays. Students, we will work around your class schedule!
Hourly Rate:
$12-16, depending on experience. Welcome to St. Francis Xavier Catholic School (SFX) - we're glad you're thinking about joining our team! SFX is a Catholic Pre-K through 5th-grade elementary school where, beyond academics, we teach respect, integrity, responsibility, leadership, service, and kindness. While we're a Catholic school, we welcome faculty, staff, students, and families of all faith backgrounds. You will work in an environment where children are eager to learn and parents see themselves as partners in their child's education. Our small class sizes mean you will get to know each student individually, enabling you to celebrate their accomplishments and be readily available to help them with their individual needs. At SFX, your colleagues all share your values of educating and nurturing each student to become the best version of themselves that they can be. It's not just about academics; it's about developing the whole self; their character, confidence, potential, God-given talents, and faith.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
