Summary: Help keep vendor requests moving in this fully remote, full-time Vendor Services Assistant role supporting purchasing records, supplier communications, and internal teams. You will organize quote details, resolve routine order questions, and maintain dependable information across vendor files and procurement tools.
Job Responsibilities: • Triage supplier and internal questions about quotes, order status, approved pricing, and required forms.• Reconcile supplier confirmations against requisitions, quantities, pricing, and approval notes.• Escalate mismatched details or urgent supplier issues to purchasing partners with concise context.• Log supplier contacts, follow-up dates, and outcomes in shared tracking tools.• Verify vendor onboarding documents and payment setup requests for completeness before routing.• Draft routine supplier updates and internal status notes using approved templates.
Qualifications: • Familiarity with requisitions, supplier quotes, approvals, and order records.• Comfort navigating spreadsheets and shared purchasing platforms.• Clear, professional writing for supplier and internal updates.• Ability to spot price, quantity, and documentation discrepancies.• Reliable follow-through while working independently in a remote setting.• High school diploma or equivalent; related office coursework welcomed.
