Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional care to neonates with a variety of conditions, including:24-week gestation Maintain nursing ratios of:1:1, 1:2, or 1:3-4Requirements: Required
Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)BLS (Basic Life Support) Experience with:
EMR: EPICCharge Nurse: Yes, one per shift (seeking night shift charge travelers)
Unit Features: Advanced Care: Neonatologist on-site 8 hours daily Advanced practice providers available 24/7NICU PICC team for IV support Respiratory Therapy: 24/7Pharmacy support available 8 hours/day, 7 days a week (with house pharmacy after hours) Scheduling Details: Scheduling done in 6-week blocks, posted 2 weeks prior
Weekend Requirements:
- As needed
- Floating: Possible to Post Partum
- Orientation: Floor-specific
- Additional Notes:
- We are looking for 3-4 night shift travelers for summer staffing with potential extension until Christmas
- Cancellation Policy: The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 91 weeks
