Job Description:
Good Ol' Boys Construction | Central OhioGood Ol' Boys Construction is growing, and we're looking to add a dependable, hardworking Laborer to our Deck, Fence & Porch Crew. We're looking for someone who isn't afraid of physical work, can follow direction, takes pride in what they build, and wants to be part of a growing construction company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with building wood and composite decks
- Assist with fence installation
- Assist with covered porches and exterior carpentry
- Install deck and porch railings
- Dig and prepare post holes and footings
- Carry, stage, measure, and cut lumber and other materials
- Assist with framing and structural components
- Safely use basic hand and power tools
- Load and unload tools and materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Follow direction from the Crew Leader and work as part of a team
What We're Looking For:
- Deck, fence, framing, or general carpentry experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction and hand/power tools is a plus
- Must be dependable and show up on time and ready to work
- Must have reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools required
- Must be physically capable of performing construction labor
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be willing to learn and take direction
- Must care about quality and doing the job right
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Pay is based on experience and ability.
