Contact: Grant.hutchison@forsythbarnes.com Overview – Data Analytics Manager Forsyth Barnes is partnering with a large US retailer that is looking to hire a Data Analytics Manager to join its growing Data & Analytics organization. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys combining people leadership, hands-on analytics and commercial problem solving. You’ll lead a team of Data Analysts working across high-impact initiatives that influence customer experience, commercial performance and wider business decision-making. The role will involve setting direction for the team, improving how analytics is delivered across the organization and ensuring data is translated into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Data Analytics Manager: Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Data Analysts Owning the delivery of analytics, reporting and business intelligence initiatives Partnering closely with Product, Technology and senior business stakeholders Translating complex datasets into clear commercial insights and recommendations Helping define priorities, roadmap and best practices across the Analytics function Improving reporting, dashboards and self-service analytics capabilities across the business Identifying trends, opportunities and performance drivers through data Driving a high-performance, commercially focused culture within the team Key Requirements – Data Analytics Manager: Strong experience across Data Analytics, Business Intelligence and commercial analytics Previous experience managing or leading Data Analysts Strong SQL capability and experience working with large, complex datasets Experience using modern BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker Strong understanding of reporting, KPI development and data-driven decision-making Ability to translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Retail, eCommerce, consumer or similarly complex B2C experience would be highly beneficial
