MLT/MLS - PRNJoin Our Caring Laboratory Team at Wilson Medical Center! Do you have a passion for science, accuracy, and helping patients? We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. At Wilson Medical Center, we serve patients of all ages in a critical access hospital setting, providing care in our emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient services. You'll be part of a supportive team performing a wide variety of testing in: Blood Banking HematologyCoagulationSerologyUrinalysisMolecular Testing
What You'll Do: Perform and report tests of all complexity levels as defined by CLIA.Interpret and correlate test results with disease states and theoretical knowledge. Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control monitoring. Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory instruments. Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing for patients of all ages.
What We're Looking For:
  • Certified MLS (4-year) or MLT (2-year) through ASCP or equivalent.
  • Applicants with a bachelor's degree working toward certification within one year are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Hours & Flexibility:
  • PRN/casual shifts with variable start times based on your availability.
  • Flexible scheduling to fit your life - occasional nights, weekends, and holidays may be included.
