Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pmCall: N/AAdditional details about the position: Examines the teeth and surrounding tissues for evidences of plaque and periodontal disease. Takes digital and pantograph radiographs to identify tooth structures and abnormalities. Polishes teeth and applies medicaments required. Prepares tooth and applies pit and fissure sealants. Prepares and discusses dental hygiene treatment plans for un'ina including daily oral care requirements, proper techniques of oral hygiene, and disease prevention. Experience requirements: Two years or more dental hygienist experience preferred. Experience working with Alaska Native or American Indian people preferred. Licensure requirement: AKAbout the facility: The Kenaitze Indian Tribe was federally recognized as a sovereign, independent nation in 1971 under the Indian Reorganization Act as amended for Alaska. Today, we have about more than 2,100 tribal members who live across the Kenai Peninsula and beyond. We employ more than 430 full-time and part-time employees and interns.
