About the role
To enhance third-party risk management, the full-time Manager of Third-Party Resilience will identify and manage resiliency risks across external vendors while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure operational continuity and response capabilities.
Key responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert for resilience within Third Party Risk Management and enhance resilience risk assessment activities
Support quality assurance over resilience assessments and manage sole provider third-party risk through effective reporting strategies
Partner with stakeholders to design and conduct business continuity exercises to test preparedness for disruptions
Required qualifications
3+ years of experience in Third Party Resilience Risk Management and/or Business Continuity
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Strong understanding of American Express products, services, and organizational structure
Familiarity with Third Party Lifecycle Management program is preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
