About the role

Overview In this Backend Java Developer role, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable microservices to boost performance and reliability. You will guide a development team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and ensure robust RESTful services and data streaming with Kafka. You’ll work with Oracle/PL-SQL for data integrity and leverage Spring Boot and Spring Core to deliver modular applications. This role focuses on high-quality, scalable software delivery within Cards and Payments, and Asset and Wealth Management domains. Responsibilities Lead design and implementation of scalable microservices architecture Oversee development and deployment of RESTful web services Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate into technical specs Ensure integration of Kafka for data streaming and real-time processing Utilize Oracle and PL/SQL for database management and performance Implement Spring Boot and Spring Core frameworks to improve development efficiency Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards Demonstrate proficiency in Kafka, Oracle, and PL/SQL for data management Showcase expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST Web Services Demonstrate deep understanding of Core Java Possess domain knowledge in Cards and Payments, and Asset and Wealth Management Key requirements 8-15 years of experience Strong expertise in Core Java Proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Core Experience with Microservices and REST Web Services Kafka experience for data streaming Oracle and PL/SQL database skills Domain knowledge in Cards and Payments; Asset and Wealth Managementcollaborative mindsetmentorship and technical guidanceability to work with cross-functional teams Kafka OraclePL/SQL
