Machine Shop Lead - North Seattle WA - FEB2026Our client is seeking Machine shop Lead , they manufacture precision aerospace components. The candidate will be responsible for the activities and products of the machining department (CNC machines, saws, drills, lathes), also responsible for developing and improving the department's processes, and the personnel in the department by providing leadership and accountability for results.Lead and train people who have barriers to employmentWrite and edit programs in Mastercam and understand and edit G-codeSet-up and operate machinesMaintain and repair machinesInspects products to verify conformance to specificationsInterprets aerospace specifications, drawings, and work ordersAssigns tasks and dutiesEnforces safety regulationsDesign layouts and manufacturing processes for new jobsEstimate new productsCollaborate with Manager on employee evaluationsQualificationsAble to read and interpret drawings5+ years of CNC mill experienceSolid computer skills, including a strong understanding of G-codeA commitment to producing uniform high-quality work
