About the role
- All team members must embody the company's mission to protect people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their work
- Perform installations of fire alarm and clean-agent/special-hazard suppression systems in accordance with ORR work instructions and applicable codes.
- Take a lead role at customer sites, providing oversight and direction to other ORR technicians or subcontractors.
- Work with the Project Manager and Install Coordinator to keep the customer informed on job progress.
- Complete all necessary job-related paperwork for compliance and documentation.
- Respond to emergency service requests and take appropriate action.
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of system equipment.
- Conduct training with the customer on the functionality of the fire system.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Five years' experience in service and/or installation of fire alarm or special hazard fire suppression systems, required.
- Experience reading blue prints, required.
- Fire alarm programming experience, required.
- FASA/BASA license, preferred
- Associate degree in electronics or related field, preferred.
- NICET (Fire Alarm / Special Hazard) certification, preferred.
- Experience with the following manufacturers: Kidde, Fenwal, Notifier, Fike, FCI, preferred.
