North America Retail Sales Manager – Top Safari Operator Remote - Must be based in North America
Salary: $70,000–$100,000 USDWe’re working with a leading safari operator looking for a North America Retail Sales Manager to grow their presence in one of their most important markets. This is a relationship-led sales role for someone who knows the luxury travel industry, has a strong network of travel advisors, and enjoys getting out there and building new business. You’ll work closely with the global sales team, meet with advisors and industry partners, attend events, and help bring incredible African travel experiences to more clients. The company is passionate about creating exceptional journeys across Africa while supporting wildlife conservation, protecting wild spaces, and working with local communities.
About You: 3+ years of experience in luxury travel sales, luxury hospitality, tour operations, DMC, safari, expedition, or a related sector. Strong existing relationships with travel advisors across North America. Experience working with Virtuoso, Signature, Ensemble, or similar luxury travel networks. Good understanding of the travel advisor, consortia, and retail travel market. Confident communicator who enjoys networking, presenting, and building long-term relationships. Comfortable working independently and managing a busy travel schedule. Willing to travel extensively across North America and internationally, sometimes at short notice. Experience with African destinations, safari, or expedition travel would be a big plus.
What You’ll Do: Build and strengthen relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia, host agencies, and key industry partners. Identify new business opportunities and help grow sales across North America. Meet with advisors and deliver product training, presentations, and updates. Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, roadshows, and partner meetings. Work closely with the global sales, marketing, and reservations teams to support growth. Keep up with the market, share feedback, and help identify new opportunities within the luxury travel space.
