Role Description: The Air Quality Engineer will be a full-time, remote and on customer site team member based in Raleigh, NC, responsible for supporting air quality projects from initial assessment through final reporting. Day-to-day activities include conducting air quality data analysis and QC methods with international and domestic travel. The Air Quality Engineer/Scientist will collaborate with other environmental professionals, participate in site visits and data collection, and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal teams and clients. maintenance of project repoort, service and commercial tracking systems software will also be involved.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess skills in Air Quality Systems and Air Quality testing and data assessment, including familiarity with emissions calculations and monitoring methods. Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Air Qualty monitoring systems operations Candidates should possess skills in client communication, project coordination, and preparation of clear technical reports. Associates/Bachelor’s degree or higher in a techincal field: Environmental Engineering/Sciences Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with hands on equipment/lab experience Proficiency with relevant software tools such as air modeling programs, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools Ability to work on-site/remote in Raleigh, NC, as well as US based and international sites Prior experience in air quality, environmental consulting, or regulatory agencies is preferred but not required.
