About the role

We are actively recruiting a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for an ongoing locums opportunity in Tennessee. Opportunity Details: June 2026 through December 2026 coverage needed Inpatient setting Scheduled clinical coverage plus call Cerner EMRApproximately 10 patients per shift Flexible scheduling discussions available
Clinical Responsibilities:
  • First assist in Cardiothoracic SurgeryCABG and open-heart procedures
  • Valve repair and replacementEVH / vein harvestingCVICU and critical care management
  • Pre and post-operative care
  • Chest tube and central line placement
Requirements: Board Certified PACardiothoracic Surgery experience requiredACLS required Strong surgical and perioperative experience Support & Logistics:
  • Travel covered
  • Lodging covered
  • Malpractice covered
  • Temporary privileges available
  • Credentialing approximately 90 days
