Position Summary: RCM Health Care Services is hiring Occupational Therapists for skilled nursing facilities throughout Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available for experienced clinicians and new graduates. This role involves providing occupational therapy evaluations and individualized treatment services to adult and geriatric residents in a skilled nursing facility. The OT will help residents improve functional abilities, activities of daily living, mobility, strength, coordination, and independence to support their safety and overall quality of life.

Hours per week: Full-time and part-time opportunities available, after school hours, weekend hours
Contract length: Ongoing • Key Duties:
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric residents Provide skilled occupational therapy services to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence Assist residents in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting Assess residents’ functional abilities and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, and strategies to promote independence Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs and rehabilitation goals
