We are seeking a Fluid Power Specialist to serve as the subject matter expert for hydraulic and pneumatic technologies throughout our organization. This individual will support both customers and our sales team by providing application expertise, product recommendations, troubleshooting assistance, and technical training. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving complex customer challenges, working collaboratively with a team, and developing long-term technical relationships with customers.
Responsibilities: To excel in this position, the candidate will:
- Serve as the primary technical resource for fluid power applications, including hydraulic, pneumatic, filtration, lubrication, and motion control systems.
- Support territory sales engineers through joint customer visits, application reviews, and project development.
- Assist customers in identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
- Develop and present technical solutions, system recommendations, and product specifications.
- Support complex projects from concept through implementation.
- Conduct customer and internal training on fluid power products, technologies, and best practices.
- Work closely with supplier partners and factory specialists to develop solutions for customer applications.
- Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities within targeted industries.
- Document activities, opportunities, and project progress within our CRM system (HubSpot).Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and product developments.

Qualifications:
Four-year engineering degree or equivalent fluid power industry experience.
Minimum three years of experience in fluid power, industrial automation, reliability, maintenance, engineering, or technical sales.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to customers, engineers, maintenance personnel, and sales professionals.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
