About the role
The Vice President of Sales leads enterprise Group Sales strategy, sales performance, capability building, and execution across park-connected teams and support-center functions. This role owns alignment across regional sales directors, park sales teams, small groups, resort sales, lead generation, sales enablement, training, reporting, incentives, and product development.
Key responsibilities:
Lead overall Group Sales strategy, revenue growth, and performance accountability across the portfolio.
Oversee regional sales leadership and coordinate dotted-line support to park sales teams and Small Groups.
Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, CRM, and park leadership on sales goals, revenue targets, product strategy, and SIP alignment.
Build scalable sales playbooks, training programs, pipeline governance, and performance cadences.
Improve lead generation, business development, CRM/Salesforce adoption, and sales reporting discipline.
Partner with Revenue Operations on forecasting, renewal rates, product setup, AR/PDT processes, and pipeline visibility.
Identify short-term staffing gaps and longer-term sales capability needs across parks.
Provide executive updates on Group Sales performance, risks, hiring needs, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related field 12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including responsibility for multi-location sales organizations, revenue growth, forecasting, and team performance.
Proven track record of driving sustained revenue growth, new bBusiness development, account retention, and sales productivity in a consumer-facing or B2B sales environment.
Experience leading field-based and centralized sales teams across a geographically distributed organization.
Demonstrated success building scalable sales processes, playbooks, training programs, incentive structures, and performance management frameworks.
Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), pipeline management, lead generation, forecasting methodologies, and sales analytics.
Experience establishing sales KPIs, reporting disciplines, forecasting processes, and executive performance dashboards.
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Marketing, Finance, Revenue Operations, Commercial, and Operations teams to achieve shared business objectives.
Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and translate data into actionable business decisions.
Proven success operating within a matrixed organization and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
Excellent leadership, communication, executive presentation, coaching, and talent-development skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, improve sales capabilities, and drive adoption of new tools, processes, and programs.
Willingness to travel to park locations and support center offices as business needs require.
