About the Role:
The Company is seeking a VP of People to join their rapidly growing team. This is a pivotal role, as the successful candidate will be the first dedicated people leader, responsible for developing and leading the overall people strategy in partnership with the executive team. The VP of People will be a key player in building and shaping the company's culture, ensuring it remains strong and inclusive as the business expands. The role involves diagnosing and addressing the current state of various people functions, including onboarding, compensation, performance, and recruiting, and creating a cohesive strategy to support the company's ambitious goals. The ideal candidate will have significant senior people leadership experience, particularly in a startup or high-growth environment, and a strong background in healthcare, with a focus on the complexity of healthcare organizations and their specialized workforces. Key responsibilities for the VP of People at the company include establishing a clear roadmap for talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement. The role requires a leader with a builder's mindset, capable of improving hiring quality, designing scalable onboarding experiences, and introducing performance management approaches that support accountability and development. The candidate should have a proven track record in talent acquisition and assessment, as well as the ability to partner with leaders across various functions to meet their people needs. Executive presence, exceptional judgment, and the ability to influence senior leaders are essential, as is a practical, low-ego approach to problem-solving. The VP of People will also be expected to advise on organizational design, workforce planning, and to lead change across the business. Hiring Manager TitleCEOFunctionsHuman Resources
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
