About the role
- Operate a sit-down forklift/tow motor to move materials safely and efficiently
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks
- Receive, stage, and organize materials and shipments
- Transport materials to production areas as needed
- Prepare and organize outbound shipments
- Verify materials and shipments for accuracy
- Enter and update inventory information using computer software
- Help maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized
- Work with production and warehouse team members to keep materials moving
- Previous sit-down forklift/tow-motor experience required
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Comfortable using a computer for basic data entry and inventory records
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials
- Dependable attendance and consistent work history
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Comfortable working in a cooler-temperature environment
