Sr. Partner Solution Architect, Energy, Global ISVs Join to apply for the Sr. Partner Solution Architect, Energy, Global ISVs role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) As a Partner Solutions Architect you will be responsible for creating and driving the technical strategy with our partners and leading go-to-market for products built on AWS. You will craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures with partners to solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with your team at AWS, you will drive revenue growth through customer adoption of partner solutions on AWS. You will interact with service engineering, marketing, and professional services teams and represent your team to executive management. You will bring your Energy applications experience to help create new products with our Partners on AWS.Key responsibilitiesSupport AWS partner teams to formulate a strategy for the adoption of cloud services in the Energy vertical. Work with partners to understand their business and technical needs; develop solutions that make the best use of the AWS Cloud platform. Collaborate with AWS field sales, training, and support teams to ensure partner success. Evangelize AWS Services and Solutions that benefit customers. Share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, reference architectures, and public speaking events.Act as technical liaison between partners and the service engineering teams, providing product improvement feedback to AWS developers and accelerating the adoption of new features in customer deployments. Provide one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to builders considering or already using AWS. Capture and share best-practice knowledge pertaining to Energy technologies among the AWS solutions architecture community.Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within partners to enable them to be cloud advocates. Act as a technical liaison between partners, service engineering teams, and support. Be able to develop proof-of-concepts for Energy applications. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of technology experience in areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics. 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures. 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries. 5+ years of experience in the energy, oil & gas, or related field.PreferredQualifications 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year to $239,000/year, depending on location and experience.
