Overview: The Department of Radiation Oncology and Applied Sciences (DROAS) at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center seeks a full‑time radiation oncologist to serve at practice locations in Lebanon, ND, and St. Johnsbury, VT. DROAS is a member of the Dartmouth Cancer Center, the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, and a NCI‑designated cancer center.

Responsibilities: Serve as a generalist radiation oncologist, providing comprehensive patient care and clinical services. Confirm diagnoses, develop and execute external‑beam radiation therapy plans (IMRT, IGRT, stereotactic), and monitor patient progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of ABR‑certified radiation oncologists and physicists. Participate in academic endeavors, including resident conferences, teaching, and clinical research. Maintain clinical and administrative record‑keeping and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives. Provide patient and family‑centered care, obtain informed consent, and supervise advanced practice providers as directed.
Qualifications: Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO) and residency training in radiation oncology. Board certified or board eligible in radiation oncology. Strong commitment to academic cancer care and collaborative practice. Effective verbal and written communication skills and compassionate demeanor. Ability to practice on an as‑needed basis across several locations in New Hampshire and Vermont.
Required Licensure and Certifications: Board certified or board eligible in radiation oncology. Current medical licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont (or eligibility to obtain within 5 years).Active hospital staff membership.
