About the role

Are you looking for a simple, high-impact way to support local youth? Join CommUNITY Arts STL as a CABBIE volunteer driver! Transportation is often the single biggest barrier keeping St. Louis youth from participating in life-changing after-school arts programs. As a CABBIE driver in our Community Arts Bus (CAB) program, you'll give local kids safe rides home from creative classes in your personal vehicle. Why Volunteer as a CABBIE?Flexible & Low Commitment: Choose a consistent single drive time per week (just 30–60 minutes).
Simple Requirements: No special license needed—just a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
Volunteer Perks: Access our dedicated volunteer app, texting support, CABBIE car-kits, and opportunities to earn gas giftcards. Break down transportation barriers and empower the next generation of St. Louis artists!

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
