About the role
Seeking a California Licensed Senior Attorney Editor, the full-time remote position will conduct in-depth legal research, draft and edit legal commentary, and collaborate with authors to produce high-quality content for the Witkin Library and Rutter Group Practice Guides.
Key responsibilities
Conduct rigorous legal research and analysis of authorities, monitoring new case law and legislation
Draft, review, and edit legal commentary and practical guidance to ensure accuracy and clarity
Collaborate with outside authors and internal partners to ensure seamless content production
Required qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active admission to the California Bar
Minimum of 6 years of experience practicing law in California
Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Exceptional editorial judgment and attention to detail
Proven ability to adapt quickly to new fields of law
