The Director of Information Technology provides strategic and operational leadership for JMAA’s enterprise technology environment. The role establishes technology strategy, governance, cybersecurity, resilience, and service delivery priorities aligned with JMAA’s mission and the operational demands of JAN and HKS. In addition to technology leadership, the Director builds a cohesive, high-performing IT team by installing consistent leadership practices, developing talent, strengthening psychological safety, ensuring role clarity, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Director is accountable for the planning, security, availability, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of enterprise information systems; for leading personnel, budgets, projects, vendors, contracts, and policies; and for advising senior executives and the Board on technology investments, risks, and performance. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Master’s degree preferred. Eight years of progressively responsible IT experience, including five years in leadership Demonstrated experience managing enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, budgets, personnel, and complex projects Experience in regulated or critical-infrastructure environments preferred Experience developing teams, coaching leaders, and building cross-functional collaboration preferred Preferred certifications: Network Administrator or equivalent required, such as: CompTIA
