QA/QC Clerk
Reports to: Quality Manager
Location: Houston, TXCooperates with: Quality, Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing Primary Responsibility: The QA/QC Clerk provides administrative and operational support to the Quality Department by maintaining accurate quality records, organizing inspection documentation, tracking nonconformances and corrective actions, and supporting day-to-day quality activities.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and file quality records, inspection reports, travelers, certificates, and other required production and quality documentation for completeness, required signatures, dates, and traceability. Enter and maintain quality-related information in company databases, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and tracking tools. Scan, upload, distribute, and archive quality records according to established document-retention requirements. Assist with maintaining current quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and controlled documents. Prepare inspection forms, travelers, checklists, and other documentation required by Quality Control personnel. Assist Quality Inspectors with collecting and organizing inspection records and supporting that required inspection and quality documentation accompanies products through applicable manufacturing stages. Assist with maintaining product, material, and job traceability records. Assist with tracking Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive actions through closure. Assist with customer complaint documentation and tracking as directed by Quality Management. Maintain calibration records and assist with tracking inspection and measurement equipment calibration due administrative support to the Quality Manager, Quality Supervisor, Quality Engineers, and Quality Inspectors. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One or more years of administrative, manufacturing, quality, or document-control experience preferred.

  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
