Role Description: This is a part-time, remote position for a Registered Dietitian. The role involves assessing clients' nutritional needs, developing personalized meal plans, and offering practical, evidence-based nutritional counseling. You will provide medical nutrition therapy, assist with weight management programs, and contribute to creating resources that promote healthy eating habits. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of nutrition science are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications: Proficiency in Dietetics and Nutrition Experience in Nutritional Counseling and Weight Management, focusing on client-centered approaches Expertise in Medical Nutrition Therapy and the application of evidence-based practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and healthcare teams Ability to work independently in a remote environment Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required State licensure (if applicable) and adherence to ethical standards in dietetics Experience in virtual counseling platforms is a plus
