Role Description:
The Financial Analyst role at Waldron Of Maryland Inc is a full-time remote position focused on supporting financial decision-making and business performance. The person in this role will analyze financial data, prepare reports, and develop insights that help leadership understand trends, risks, and opportunities. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, tracking key performance indicators, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting periodic and ad hoc financial reporting. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate project costs, profitability, and resource allocation and will contribute to recommendations that improve efficiency and margins. This role also involves maintaining accurate financial models, ensuring data integrity, and helping enhance financial processes and tools.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and experience working with Financial Statements. Candidates should possess Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data. Candidates should possess experience with Financial Reporting, including preparing management and operational reports. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred. Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, financial analysis software).Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities remotely. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present financial insights clearly. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or building materials industries is a plus.
