ApplyAbout the role
MES Engineer - DeltaV MESResearch Triangle area, North Carolina Up to $150,000 Permanent, four days on site and one remote There's a version of this job where you configure the same MES on the same site until you retire. Most DeltaV MES engineers get that one. This is a large biologics campus with two drug substance facilities, and you'd be employed by a life sciences integrator embedded in the site. The managers run small teams on the same client projects as their engineers, the project conversation happens every week, and almost every engineer I placed there four and five years ago is still in their seat. The platform is Emerson DeltaV MES (I still know it as Syncade), running alongside a DeltaV DCS.You'd take what the customer wants a product to do, work out what DeltaV MES can deliver, then configure it. Healthcare is paid in full for you, your spouse and your kids, then a 4% 401(k) match, three weeks vacation plus enhanced maternity and paternity leave. You'll need hands on configuration of a pharmaceutical MES and time inside a cGMP facility. Two years is the floor. PAS-X, POMSnet, Pharma Suite or Opcenter all count if you're competent. Relocation is covered, and most of the Triangle is asking for five days. If you're interested get in touch.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
