About the role
Join Our Summer Camp Aquatics Team! Camp Watchaug | Charlestown, RI | Summer 2026 Spend your summer on the water at Camp Watchaug, located right on scenic Watchaug Pond! We're hiring passionate and safety-minded Aquatics Staff for the 2026 summer season: Lifeguards Boating Director Waterfront Director Seasonal Commitment: June–August | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM(Some flexibility available)
Qualifications:
- Must be 15+ (Director roles preferred 21+)Current RI Surf or Non-Surf Lifeguard certification (or ability to obtain before start)CPR/First Aid & Boating Safety certifications required for some roles
- Strong swimmer with experience supervising aquatic activities
- Comfortable leading, teaching, and ensuring safety around water
- Prior waterfront/camp experience strongly preferred for directors
