Associate Legal Fellow (Remote) | Non-Profit | Job ID: #3592156 Are you a recent J.D. graduate or early-career legal professional looking to make an impact through policy and public interest work? This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to help shape state and federal policy reforms while collaborating with legal, policy, and government affairs teams.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research on state and federal policy issues and reforms. Draft legal memoranda, legislative language, executive materials, and other legal documents. Monitor litigation, court decisions, and policy developments across the country. Support the development of amicus briefs, public comments, and legal analyses. Partner with policy and government affairs teams to advance strategic reform initiatives. Lead multi-state policy surveys and maintain internal tracking systems.
Requirements:
J.D. required with 0–3 years of legal or public policy experience. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience with legal drafting, litigation support, or policy research is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment. Passion for mission-driven, policy-focused work.
Salary: $75,000–$95,000 plus comprehensive benefits.
