Job Description:
  • Inventory Control Clerk
  • Northwest Houston
  • Temp-to-hire1st Shift | 6am to 230pm | Monday to Friday$17-$22 an hour; based on experience
We have collaborated with a leader in oil services who provides inflatable packers to the oil and gas industry to locate a Potting Operator. The right candidate will perform potting operations associated with the production of inflatable or swellable packers and other downhole tools.
What You Will Do:
  • Compile records related to MRP, ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, cycle counting and shipping materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Researching the cause of inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections.
  • Compare count to on hand value for any variance
  • Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
  • Maintaining product identification and location program.
  • Tracking and reporting non-conforming product.
  • Ensuring all labeling requirements is met in a timely manner.
  • Resolving inventory problems in a timely manner.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Assist with Material handling when needed.
  • Maintaining Inventory Accuracy Metrics and associated reports for management
What You Will Need: High school diploma or GEDMust have 5 + years of Inventory experience. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as part of the job function. Must be able to pass the forklift certification test and drive a forklift daily. Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
