About the role

Fairmont State University is seeking a Social Media Assistant to support the Communications, Marketing, and Creative Services staff. You will attend events on and off campus to provide social media coverage, archive content, and engage with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok using tools like Hootsuite, Canva and CapCut. You will host and help produce the Falcon Flyby, our campus weekly show, and contribute to influencer marketing efforts.
