Job Description:
SJ Truck Bodies is a local, fast growing truck fabrication company located in Monroeville, NJ.We are looking for a Truck Upfitter/Installer Mechanicto join our team! We are looking for a highly motivated, team player who can take directions and be able to be self-reliant. These individuals should be up beat, adaptable, an comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We offer competitive pay, room for advancement, paid holidays, paid time off, paid lunch/focus breaks, snacks/coffee bar, 40 HR work weeks (Monday - Friday 7am-3pm)
Responsibilities:
Installation of truck body in cab/chassis truck frames.
Installation of 12V lighting, Switches, and other functions.
Installation of Hydraulic Systems and PTO's, and Subframe Components.
Lengthening and Shortening of Truck frames.
Measuring and Frame Drilling.
Some welding required.
General Assembly.
Forklift Operation.
Keeping up Inventory of Install Supplies.
Employee must regularly stand, walk, reach, stoop, lift, climb or balance, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Qualifications:
3-5 Years Relevant Experience
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Able to make sense of drawing and work orders
Able to lift 50+ lbs
Knowledge of basic math, tape measuring reading, fractions & decimals
Power Tool Experience

Team player
