About the role

Vital Care of Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced PRN Pharmacist to provide as-needed coverage for our home infusion pharmacy in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist with infusion experience who is looking for a flexible PRN role without a set weekly schedule. Coverage needs may include pharmacist PTO, occasional scheduling gaps, or other as-needed pharmacy support.
What You’ll Do: Review and verify home infusion and specialty infusion prescriptions Perform clinical review of patient therapy, including dosing, labs, allergies, interactions, and appropriateness of treatment Verify compounded sterile preparations and associated documentation Collaborate with nurses, prescribers, referral sources, and other members of the care team Support safe and accurate dispensing of infusion medications and supplies Follow USP, pharmacy policies, and applicable state and federal regulations Provide pharmacist coverage and operational support as needed
Qualifications: Active pharmacist license in the State of Michigan in good standing Previous infusion pharmacy, home infusion, specialty infusion, or other relevant infusion experience required Experience with sterile compounding and USP requirements Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Comfortable working independently and stepping into an established workflow Strong communication and organizational skills SchedulePRN / as needed No guaranteed minimum or maximum number of hours Primarily used for pharmacist coverage as needs arise Availability may include planned PTO coverage and occasional additional coverage Compensation$55-$75 per hour based on experience About Vital Care of Grand Rapids Vital Care of Grand Rapids is a home infusion and specialty pharmacy serving patients throughout Michigan.
