CP Brands Group (formally known as Cutie Pie Baby) is a wholesaler best known for its extensive childrenswear presence in off-price, clubs, farm + fleet stores, department stores, and big box/mass. Our product can be found in over 60,000 stores worldwide under national brands including Wrangler, Vince, PINK, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomies Baby, alongside an extensive private-label and in-house branded business. Since founded 40 years ago, we’ve become known for our artwork and styling, with a high output of thousands of original prints per season for buyers to select from. Our design team travels to Europe 2-3x annually to ensure we are ahead of the trend curve. We also pride ourselves on being sourcing experts that are able to cater to multiple channels of retailers, as well as offer a broad of good/better/best product. We’ve extended our factory portfolio over the last couple years to insulate ourselves from trade conditions and currently source from five countries and counting — including China, Pakistan, Madagascar, Bangladesh, and India. With offices in New York and Shanghai, we operate with a team of 70+ professionals, ranging from designers to sourcing experts, sales teams, and operations staff.
About the Role:
The Logistics Coordinator will manage the day-to-day movement of goods from our factories and vendors to our distribution centers and, ultimately, to our retail partners. This role is critical to ensuring on-time delivery, accurate inventory flow, and smooth communication between our production, distribution, and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate inbound shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers Track purchase orders from factory shipment through warehouse receipt, monitoring for delays, while flagging and communicating issues proactively Main point of contact for internal business teams on order status and escalations Manage import/export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs paperwork)Communicate with overseas vendors and factories on shipment schedules and production timelines Track containers, ETAs, and port-to-DC visibility Partner with 3rd party warehouse team to ensure accurate receiving, put-away, and outbound routing Coordinate with 3rd party back-office team Maintain and update shipment tracking logs and reporting for internal teams Resolve shipping discrepancies and damaged goods claims Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides and vendor compliance requirements, and tracking and managing chargebacks Support inventory reconciliation and cycle count processes as needed Maintain freight forwarder and steamship line relationships Qualifications 4+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export coordination Apparel or wholesale/retail experience a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with international shipping documentation and Incoterms Comfortable working in EDI/ERP/ASN systems Ability to review and decipher vendor manual and routing guides Working knowledge of tariff/customs basics Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously Travel as needed
